What Items Should You Be Building for More Magic Damage?: Predecessor
In the previous video (linked below) I spent some time in a spreadsheet cooking up big magic power builds and I am happy to report that my calculations were correct. In this video, I took those builds into the testing arena to see how they translate to damage numbers and came out with some interesting findings. The most important of which is that Armor Pen is king, adding Caustica for the 35% armor ignore will net you more damage at the end of the game, even on characters with little to no armor items built. And with the insane efficiency of Timewarp acting as a one-stop-shop for both your cooldown and mana sustain, I've come to believe these two items offer more value than most of the stacking items, or Spirit of Amir. In conclusion, if you want to do the most magical damage possible late game, Orb of Growth, Caustica, Timewarp, and Oblivion Crown (only ever build as last item), are the highest DPS increasers.
