Create beautiful snowflakes and snow flake repeating patterns in Illustrator.
In this video you will learn how to make snowflakes in Illustrator by creating a single shape and then rotating it to make the snowflake. As there are multiple rotate tools in Illustrator that all work in slightly different ways with different results. So this video shows when and how to use these tools to get the results you want.
Once you have made some snowflakes you will see how to make these snowflakes into a seamless repeating pattern using the Pattern Make feature in Illustrator. The result is a custom tiled pattern swatch that you can use in your own designs.
