SIGMA 30mm 1.4 SONY A6500 4K Video Test vs 1080P vs 120fps Slow Motion
Sigma 30mm 1.4 real world video test on Sony A6500: 4K vs 1080P vs Slow Motion. Same scenes repeated 3 times in the different modes. No Colour Grading on scenes, all use default colour profile out the box - which I think looks really good.

SCENE 3: Indoors / Low Light
sigma 30mm f1.4 dc dn is an awesome lens, my favourite, it is razor sharp. I highly recommend the Sigma 30mm f1.4 for low light photography also. But I mainly use it for video. What did you think of the footage?

Never trust word of mouth. I made this test not only to help you decide but also for myself to confirm which modes I should be using. All video was taken on the Sony A6500 mirrorless camera using an e-mount Sigma lens - 30mm prime at f/1.4
Before I purchased the Sony A6500 I heard rumours that the 1080P wasn't that sharp and that the slow motion was soft. Judge for yourself, what do you think?
Side by side against the 4k footage - the 4k looks amazingly sharp IMHO.
