Yep! Once you got your paper design figured out now it is time to test your targeted Mini PC model that you will using for your cluster for ProxMox functional role. Why you ask? Well first we test the hardware, then the BIOS and then the config of all settings needed that need to be tested to make sure you can run ProxMox on that system for your needs. The reason why I picked the Dell 7040 is that it can do two drives (M.2 and SATA) and handles a large bit of SODIMM RAM all in a very small foot print. In this test I found the Dell 7040 to worked just fine for my needs. I also took the time to test the heat levels so I can plan for that as well if needed and so I need to worry about that so far. This test was successful for my needs. Next step is the formatting of the each Mini PC and then the design a foot print to store these in my rack. Enjoy! Like if you like the video!
