Rendiamo il blues minore dell'esempio 2 con un feel ritmico decisamente funk.
Si tratta sempre di un blues in Do minore ma con delle soluzioni armoniche diverse:
per raggiungere il IV grado, ad esempio, abbiamo reso il I grado C7(b9), in modo da creare una cadenza.
Interessante anche la parte in cui si suona bVI per tornare cromaticamente sul V7. Da notare come il V sia alterato - V7(#9), suond tipico sia della dominante alterata che di certi passaggi blues.
