Automatically show Todays Date in Google Sheets with Simple TODAY function
To add today's date to a cell in Google Sheets:
Select the cell where you want the date to appear.
Type =TODAY() into the cell and press Enter.
This will automatically insert the current date into the cell. The date will update every time you open the spreadsheet.
