Under the Hood: Episode 3, Daniel Gray of MPGomatic
DIY mechanics are at the heart of car culture, with gearheads all over the country putting hundreds of hours of work into projects in their home garages. Valvoline has created a new video series – “Under the Hood: The Spirit of DIY” – to bring the passion of DIYers everywhere to life. In each video, we’ll go behind the scenes and under the hood to see just what projects are hiding in garages, or flying down highways near you.
On Episode 3 of Under the Hood, we’re visiting the garage of Dan Gray (MPGomatic.com) who’s working on Project Ain’t Fuelin’: a restomod 1999 Honda Civic HX Coupe. The HX is a best-kept secret in fuel-economy. Follow Dan’s project from restoring the vehicle to its factory MPG spec, to lowering and equipping the car with low rolling resistance tires.
