Echelon "Prime Bike" DEAD already? Was the Amazon Prime Bike a HOAX?

It appears the Amazon Prime Bike may not even be a collaboration between the Echelon Bike company and Amazon at all.
Learn more about what's going on with the bike that was initially being called the Amazon Prime Bike in the news, and now appears to be removed from amazon completely.
Will we see if the amazon bike aka the Echelon EX-prime come released under a new name? Is it going to be called the Echelon EX-P instead of the amazon Prime Bike?
What do you think is going on between peloton echelon and amazon? Seems to be some drama over the naming convention of the echelon ex-prime or amazon bike, which makes sense because when you see the word Prime, you think Amazon.
So it appears the so called Prime bike is no longer available to buy currently, and it may have never existed? But I have one here in my home that I bought on Amazon with my Prime membership.

So the articles they linked in there comment, there appears to be some drama going on with the Echelon Bike that was listed on Amazon for about $500.
So earlier this month I saw this amazon bike or echelon amazon prime bike pop up out of the blue, and I bought it to see what its all about, which if you haven't seen my video on how it compares to the walmart version you can watch that next, and I also did separate video showing a demonstration on how this echelon bike I got from amazon prime works.
I was really curious why such a popular model indoor cycling bike which has been very difficult to actually obtain was just kind of going unnoticed.... The echelon connect amazon bike is really popular because its a good option at the price point, but it's often been sold out on walmart and difficult to obtain.
Anyway, I bought it, and it came to my door quickly, and it's great but was still largely under the radar.
Then a few days ago I saw a press release for it
and then yesterday it was picked up in the news and got really popular really fast,
then at some point during the day the amazon listing changed from the EX-Prime to simply the EX-P which I thought made it look a little confusing, and the shipping times changed from basically 3 days to eventually more like 6 weeks or so for the amazon bike.
I could tell something weird was going on but I couldn't quite put my finger on it, and at first I thought it probably just sold out due to it getting in the news and probably a bunch of people bought up all the supply and it was gone
but THEN all of a sudden the bike was no longer available period and basically just dissapeared from Amazon, which I thought was strange
So last night Chris, Dan, and and Brian in the comments showed me a news article came out saying the bike was pulled from from amazon.
So apparently there is some confusion or incorrect wording going on with regards to what was yesterday being refered to as the amazon prime bike in some news articles, and Initially it appeared Amazon may have been somehow involved with this indoor cycling bike, but that now appears maybe that's not be the case at all.
All I can tell you is there seems to be conflicting information out at the moment and from what I understand the amazon bike may be getting a new name and branding, and after that is cleared up it may be available to buy on Amazon again.
It seems as though this variation of the bike was going to be a product listed exclusively on Amazon, and not available to buy in other stores.
At this point it seems to be all hear say, but i'll keep you posted on how it all plays out.
What I can tell you for sure is I ordered this echelon bike on amazon, it costs like $500, it shipped straight to my door for free in just a few days, and it's been working like a charm so far.
