Sound for Video Session: Spacer Bubble Wind Covers for Boom Microphones
In this week's Sound for Video Session, we have an initial look at and tests of the Spacer Bubble. This is a slide-on cover for boom microphones that evidently works significantly better than traditional foam and fur covers. Let's see how it prevents distortion from wind and how transparent it sounds — the big tradeoff of wind covers for microphones.
