To make relics you need to collect a relic base, a relic itself and a refined crystal and then assemble them. Relic bases and relics can be found by excavating piles of dirt using the archaeology skill, or buy opening treasure chests while exploring Selvadorada.
For refined crystals, at level 7 you can use an archaeology table to turn crystals into refined crystals. It's worth noting that the crystal itself isn't important, but its rarity is, and will affect the overall power of the assembled relic.
