How I schedule my life for maximum creativity and productivity!
So, this one was viewer requested, and I was honestly kinda surprised by how many people expressed curiosity about how I manage my schedule. Maybe I shouldn't be! Every time I share a little about my planning methods on Instagram, I always get a lot of questions. Especially about my kanban board.
This is just a quick overview of how I lay out each quarter of the year, how I pick goals and work out what I'll focus on each month, establish what projects I'll be working on, and how I fit them into my week. My kanban board makes an appearance too, with some information on how I sort my tasks, how often I refill it, and how color coding helps me work more effectively to keep everything moving forward.
It doesn't always feel like I'm accomplishing a lot, but as I edited this all together, I realized using this method for planning helped keep me productive after everything went nuts--which meant that since January of 2020, I've published 11 books (and two digital box sets), kept videos going up almost every weekend, finished and cast my first custom-sculpted doll head, completed half a dozen major home remodeling projects, did some pretty demanding virtual schooling for my brilliant kid, and got through some pretty serious health setbacks. Wild!
