John Jay Homestead - Orientation Animation
This animation is part of a series of videos about the life and death of John Jay. Each video represented an era of his life including his time as Govener of New York, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Chief Justice. The series continues with John Jay's children and grand children who maintained the estate after his death.
About the exhibit:
Near the entrance of John Jay's sprawling, 62-acre estate is an old carriage barn that has been restored and remade into a visitor center. As part of an introduction to Jay's life, Redmon created orientation stations where visitors can explore interactive media of his experiences as a diplomat and the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
