At that time, two images purportedly showing the Tesla Model Y "Juniper" prototype were shared on social media. One of these images allegedly revealed part of the updated rear of the Model Y, including what seemed to be a light bar with the word “Tesla” illuminated on it. Prior leaked images of the Model Y Juniper suggested that the vehicle would feature a full-width taillight bar connecting the taillights, a detail that would distinguish it from the Model 3, at least in this aspect.
