Melodyne 4.1: ARA in Studio One (english)
Note: This video was filmed with an older Melodyne version, but of course the ARA functionality is just as powerful in Melodyne 5.
“ARA Audio Random Access” is an advanced plug-in technology that improves the communication between Melodyne and Digital Audio Workstations like Studio One, thereby considerably streamlining the workflow: The laborious transfer stage is eliminated, whilst file management, handling tempo and MIDI export are all implemented in a particularly user-friendly way.
Version 4.1 of Melodyne enhances the ARA features even further. The workflow when comping tracks is now simpler than ever before, Multitrack Note Editing with ARA (Melodyne studio only) has been improved, and tempo integration functions have been extended.
Using Studio One as an example, this video shows what the new ARA features look and feel like in compatible DAWs.
