Report: Maryland blue crab population increases by 60% over last year
The supply of Maryland blue crabs is finally meeting demand. The annual Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab Advisory Report compiled by the Chesapeake Bay Program found the Maryland blue crab population has increased by 60% over last year. Conrad's Crabs and Seafood in Baltimore County was busier than a New York Stock Exchange broker Friday with crab lovers filling the store.
