Interior | Electro-Harmonix Mic Pre 12AY7
No sound or sound test. Just a video of the interior. I was considering a tube change but decided against it. Since I had it opened I made this video. I looked for such a video and did not see one online. Once opened there seems to be some poor craftsmanship on display. However I bought this used in 2016 so maybe it was modified by a previous user. I enjoy using this mic pre. I use it with a Rode NT1A. It sends a louder signal to my VS2480 mixing board and it has a subtle pleasing tone. I use the balanced out into my mixer. It was inexpensive.
