[silent] Film documents a month-long camping trip located primarily in the Bob Marshal Wilderness Complex/Flathead National Forest in western Montana that covered 300 miles over fifteen days. The group established fifteen camps and crossed the Continental Divide four times. Participants include E.J. “Gene” Kelly, William “Bill” A. Clark III, Pete Rovero, Dennis Rovero, and their unnamed canine mascot. The film highlights preparation for the trip, scenery along the way, camps established, journey by horseback, and time spent in camps. Scenes include hunting, fishing, cooking, chopping wood, washing clothes, and playing cards. Notable locations include the China Wall, Kootney [sic.] Mountains, Morrell Parks, Morrell Falls, Cottonwood Lake, South Fork of the Flathead River, Twin Peaks, Big Salmon Lake, Holland Park, McDonald Peak, and Holland Lake.
