Getting Started with the PowerApps Component Framework
The video examines the Aug 2019 preview release of the PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) to provide professional developers with a first look at this new and exciting way to extend PowerApps and Dynamics 365 applications. This video will step through how to get started with Node.js and the PowerApps CLI tools to create, debug and deploy custom components for extending a model-driven app. After demonstrating how to create a new project with a custom component, the video then examines the process of building a solution package to deploy a custom PowerApps component. Along the way, you're learn about the support in the PowerApps CLI tools for deploying and updating solution packages in a PowerApps or Dynamics 365 environment from the command-line inside Visual Studio Code.
