How to Fix Lag in FL Studio
The real problem with lag (in any software) is to much strain on your processor. If there are too many application or software running, your processor is reach its limit and slow your system down.
To fix this,
on a PC (windows), open Resource Monitor and Task Manager. See whats running on your computer. If there are too many things running in the background, your computer will slow down.
on a mac, open Activity Monitor. See whats running on your computer. If there are too many things running in the background, your computer will slow down.
Also note that a single core processor will each its limit at 100%. Anything pushing over 100% will slow down. A dual-core processor will reach its limit at 200%. A quad-core will reach it at 400%, etc.
Check out what type of processor you have and how much CPU percentage you're allowed to run on it.
This will hopefully ease your production in FL Studio.
