How To Enable App Drawer - MIUI 11 System Launcher - All Xiaomi Devices
Redmi devices have been emerging on a vast number in recent years due to it's less price mid-range daily usable smartphone devices with much of functions same as high-end Andriod devices,
& as for the present generation, most of the millennials all used Samsung devices as their first device we all have been habituated & found of App drawer with it,
which Redmi Miui System launcher has been lacking from years but recently Mi has announced & released the long awaiting App Drawer for all of its latest devices in the Miui 11 Software update,
but the older Redmi devices with even Miui 11 update haven't yet got the App Drawer feature making every old Mi user losing their patience,
so in this video, I will show how even you can Enable App Drawer on your old redimi device which has Miui 11 version,
the normal miui home screen is without any app drawer & all apps are on the home screen itself,
by default, the older miui devices have not yet got the miui system launcher update on miui 11 version, with the app drawer ability,
the app drawer option resides in home screen settings but due to older version of miui system launcher the option isn't available,
let me show you how can you enable & use app drawer until miui officially pushes update for all of the older devices or even if you have got the update & yet not figured out how to enable the app drawer,
install the alpha version of miui system launcher,
now get back to the home screen, you won't be able to see any changes around yet with the home screen, because the app drawer needs to be enabled from the settings,
get into the settings by long pressing on the home screen, click on settings & more,
there you can see a new additional option has been added 'Home Screen', click on the option,
& you can see two options one as regular home screen & other with the app drawer,
Click on the app drawer, you will be asked for confirmation click OK & it will be enabled,
now get back on the home screen you will be able to see an arrow symbol below the screen, to visit the app drawer by swiping up, in the app drawer,
in the app drawer, all the apps will be added. the apps can be seen sorted as recently used apps & into different categories with suitable apps, according to their respective categories,
by clicking the three lines, on the above right-hand side in the app drawer, the additional app drawer settings can be accessed, you can change color, transparency, & remove the categories using app drawer additional settings.
even by long-pressing on the home screen, you can access app drawer additional settings
& this is how you can enable & use App Drawer on Miui 11 system launcher
