Acrylic Pour triptych with an open cup! Today Sarah Mack and I are challenging eachother with the 3 do's & don'ts again. This is the first time I am doing the open cup technique and I am sold!
I honestly couldn't believe how thick the paint was, totally different then for the dutch pour. Really needed to get used to it. But it worked out perfectly! I will totally start doing more of this fluid art technique. The mixture I used for these gorgeous fluid paintings are : 1 part paint, 2 part floetrol (owatrol), 0,5 part water.

I am an acrylic pouring addict, without a doubt. Playing with colors, testing out new fluid art techniques, brands, sizes & collaborating with other abstract fluid artists; is the best. The fun thing about fluid painting is, that even though you do exactly the same, the outcome is different everytime.
