Stabbing in Lower East Side Park, Manhattan
The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached photos and video and is sought in connection with an assault within the confines of the 5th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1620 hours inside of Sara D. Roosevelt Park, in the vicinity of Forsyth Street and Broome Street, an unidentified male stood up from a park bench, approached the victim, a 32-year-old male who had just dismounted a bicycle, and stabbed the victim once in both arms. The unidentified male fled on foot. The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Bellevue in stable condition.
