How to create CS:GO on Linux server at home?
In this video I will show you how to install and configure CS:GO server on Linux OS. We will go through all the points from updating the server to installing the CS:GO and steamcmd. An example will be shown on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 which is created on our service mivocloud.com
A list of commands used that were not included in the video:
Variables in server.cfg
hostname "CS:GO" — Name of the game server
rcon_password "your password" — Password for managing the game server via the console, RCON commands
sv_password " " — Password to log in to the game server
mapgroup "mg_servers" — A set of cards for standard CS voting:GO servers
sv_region "255" — The region where the game server is located sv_setsteamaccount — The link for the game server is created here: http://steamcommunity.com/dev/manageg...
sv_steamgroup — Steam Group Identifier.
sv_pure 0 —Checking the correspondence of server and client files.
Starting the game server ( Enter everything in one line )
