Aaron Jones closed out 2023 by catching a punch to his face.
The Packers’ running back caught a stray following the Packers’ 33-10 road win over the Vikings on “Sunday Night Football” when he attempted to “deescalate” the situation.
Andrew Booth Jr., a Vikings cornerback, and an inactive Packers player, stood face-to-face after the game when Jones walked over.
As the Packers player shoved Booth, it caused Booth to raise his arms.
His outstretched right hand then connected with Jones’ face.
Jones then grabbed Booth’s facemask and pushed him away, while Packers receiver Malik Heath threw a punch at Booth’s shoulder pads.
Tucker Kraft and Jones continued to push Booth away before creating some distance as other Vikings stepped in.
