I am going to show you how to do some really cool date and time functions in excel.
Today we're going over a list of five date & time functions that'll make your life so much easier when it comes to data manipulation. These are some simple formulas that will help you work with dates, times, or even look at how many days have passed since a certain event occurred. There's no better way than learning from someone who has been doing this for years!
I'm going to show you how to use Excel's date and time functions - and what they do!
In this video, I'll show you how to enter a date or time into Excel. I'll also teach you about the different ways in which we can format dates and times in Excel, such as entering a date with no year or month specified.
Functions like NOW(), TODAY(), TIME() and DATE() can be really helpful when you need to get the current date or time in your spreadsheet. And if you want to know what day of the week it is, just use WEEKDAY().
Excel's date and time functions are all pretty straightforward. What makes them tricky is that they work with a bunch of different date formats including YYMMDD, MMDDYY, YMDDYY, DDMMYYYY, DYMADDYAD or even just the day of the week.
We'll also go over some tricks for formatting your dates so they look nice on a spreadsheet!
