Ghosting Trail Effect with [Posterize Time & CC Wide Time] - After Effects
Ghost Trail After Effects Tutorial -- Let me show you how i created this ghosting effect in this “sound of silence” music video i created, using Posterize Time effect, & CC Wide Time effect. SUPER EASY GHOST TRAIL EFFECT !
How do you make a ghosting effect in after effects?
*Step 1: Setting Up the Composition:*
"Start by creating a new composition. Import your images or footage. change all footage to multiply
*Step 2: Adding CC Wide Time:*
"Next, add the CC Wide Time effect to your layer. Adjust 'Forward Steps' and 'Backward Steps' to control the intensity. Find the settings that work for you."
*Step 3: Introducing Posterize Time:*
"Now, add the Posterize Time effect. Lower the frame rate to create a slow-motion effect. Play around with the frame rate until it looks just right."
*Step 4: Channel Mixer for Monochrome:*
"Enhance the ghosting by adding the Channel Mixer effect. Switch to monochrome for a classic black and white look. This step adds depth to your composition."
*Step 5:*
"Bring in the Change Color effect. Adjust the matching tolerance to fine-tune it how you like .
5.2- now mask your layers, Fade the edges and position them where you like.
*Step 6: Light Leaks for Lighting Effect:*
" to add that dynamic lighting effect introduce light leaks and place them on top change them to soft light .
6.2 — In the end you should have something like this …..
*Step 7: Export to Premiere Pro:*
"Once satisfied, export to Premiere Pro. add the finishing touches, color grading and make it pop."
*Conclusion:*
