Learn Git Essentials 6: .gitignore
Every time whenever you create a new file, or do some modifications in the existing file, Git immediately catches it. It is very useful, but sometimes it can get irritating when you have files that you don't want git to track and still appears in the untracked list (working area).
The solution to this is the .gitignore file. In this video, we will look at this extensively and cover all the cases. .gitignore is very helpful when it comes to saving time and making things simple and help you focus more on the task rather than worrying about unnecessary commits.
