Is your main photo STOPPING YOU from MAKING SALES?! Here's how to find out!
I like to use a little something I call the ✨𝐏𝐎𝐏 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 ✨
The POP test helps you see if your main photo blends into the background… or if it’s doing a good job of standing out amongst the competition.
1. Open an incognito tab
2. Search 1/2 of your title in the Etsy Search bar
3. Scroll down, without TRYING to find your listing - and see which main photos POP out at you
𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨?!
Well, maybe your photo needs to be brighter
maybe it needs a pop of color
maybe it’s hard to make out what it is you’re selling in the first place!
The Pop test can also help you see what OTHER THINGS are working in your space
Tip: Pay attention to what other listing photos popped out at you and grabbed your attention
Then, ask yourself how you can borrow some of those ideas for your own main photos!
