In the 1970s, powerful youth anti-nuclear movements rocked the world. When those young leaders got into power, they started phasing out their nation's nuclear power, right as a new generation of young people learned to love nuclear energy for its ability to help fight climate change. In this session, we discuss the origin and status of nuclear phaseouts, and what is happening to reverse the closure of nuclear plants, from the advocates who are leading these battles in their home nations.
