Perfect Instagram Stacked-View Reels • Easy in Davinci Resolve
https://merkados.com/ & http://mks.ac/cs18 In this episode, Alex Centeno, creative director at Merkados, explains the process of how to make stacked-view Instagram reels in Davinci Resolve 18. We start by creating individual compound clips, we then add them to the timeline and we finish with a simple color grade in the MKDS 2484+ PowerGrade.
The benefit of using compound clips is that you can change the clips using the timeline as a template for future posts and keep your color grades. An added benefit (Part II of this series) is that you can replace the inner clips with Python code, making it easier to create them automatically.
