Queens unite to celebrate the re-imagining of an iconic song with an extra fabulous, alternative video, featuring some of the most iconic drag queens in the world. The feel-good summer anthem is given a new lease of life, with more than 20 fierce divas lip syncing for their life in a video to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the start of Pride season. Both George Michael and Mary J. Blige are activists for and supporters of queer rights and George’s campaigning for LGBTQ rights offered a life raft to many.
With many celebrations being cancelled due to COVID-19, the video was filmed safely whilst in quarantine and included cameos from Ru-Paul’s Drag Race season 10 winner Aquaria, Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly, All-stars Shea Coulee, Trinity The Tuck, Valentina and British/Irish queens Divina De Campo, Cheryl Hole, Blu Hyrdrangea alongside the legendary Lady Bunny.
'Always' by Waze & Odyssey and Tommy Theo has been given the seal of approval from all artists for the first time in musical history, with both the late George Michael and Mary J. Blige now listed as credited artists. The sound of the summer has arrived in the shape of this incredible anthem, which is set to meteorically rise with the addition of these world class queens.
