TOPIC OF THIS VIDEO:
In this video I am comparing the Insta360 Go2 against the GoPro Hero 9.
Chest Mount:
The Insta360 Go 2 is mounted in seconds as a chest mount and the whole set up is much smaller and lighter than a cheasty + the GoPro Hero 9.
Audio:
Both camera record good audio straight out of camera. The Insta360 Go 2 records with a slightly lower volume than the GoPro Hero 9, but the audio is all in all great!
POV:
For POV shots I prefer the GoPro Hero 9 because you can tilt the camera up and down. The Insta360 Go 2 films only straight, but you can tilt down the camera in post with the Insta360 studio.
Accessory Case:
A cool thing of the Insta360 Go 2 is the case it comes with. It looks like the case of AirPods and has a built in mini tripod stand for this miniature camera. Additionally, you can charge the Insta360 Go 2 with this case and you can set the camera up.
FOV:
The field of view of both cameras is very wide. In this Insta360 Go 2 tutorial I show a side by side comparison so you can see, which FOV you like better, the one of the GoPro Hero 9 or the Insta360 Go 2.
Cinematic Shots:
Another cool thing of the Insta360 Go 2 is that you can fit it through tight spaces as it's so small, which opens a lot of doors for getting cinematic shots.
Magnetic Clip:
There is another accessory the Insta360 Go 2 comes with, and that's the pivot stand. It's magnetic so you can mount the Insta360 Go 2 on any magnetic surfaces, but the pivot stand has more surprising things to offer.
Tripod Stand:
As the main case, the pivot stand is also a mini tripod. You can mount the camera on all even surfaces in seconds.
Sticky Side:
By far the best accessory I have ever seen is the sticky surface of the pivot stand of the Insta360 Go 2. You can stick it literally everywhere and take it away without any marks. You can reuse it as many times as you like and this opens up a lot of opportunities, where you can place your Insta360 Go 2 to film your cinematic shots.
Stabilization:
In the end of this Insta360 Go 2 tutorial I am making a side by side comparison of the stabilization of the GoPro Hero 9 and the Insta360 Go 2.
