Scrap is the currency of Rust. It is used for many things from making workbenches, to researching items for crafting, to buying goods from vending machines. There are many ways to farm scrap, some being more effective then others. Recently, a new method of farming scrap has emerged through the use of fish traps. By using these traps and filling them with bait, you can passively collect tons of fish and then sell them at a fishing village to gain extortionate amounts of scrap for not a lot of work. This concept paired with an over the top berry farm to feed the traps makes for a solos dream when it comes to farming scrap.
