. In this video, I’m talking about the re BIRTH OF LEGEND, about building a computer on a new-made motherboard of the Leningrad-NETI modification made on the basis of the legendary ZX-Spectrum clone - Leningrad-1 (or rather Leningrad 48K) developed by Soviet Man Sergey Zonov.
My story is mainly in pictures, because unfortunately I did not shoot the assembly process on video (in 2014). But I spoke for the first time in this video(a test of the pen, so to speak))). All sorts of modernizations highlighted here are filmed and will be laid out separately after installation on this channel in the playlist: https://clck.ru/Mskwi

..."In distant, distant times, in 1982, one cool guy named Clive Marles Sinclair began to produce a wonderful home computer ZX Spectrum 16K / 48K. And they developed it no less, and maybe even more cool men:
Richard Altwasser (Electronics),
Steve Vickers (software),
Rick Dickinson (box design).
It turned out a very budget but quite functional device. In just a few years, he underwent several improvements ...
... Due to the relative simplicity of ZX Spectrum, already in the mid-80s, a lot of its clones appeared in Brazil, Argentina and Eastern Europe (former socialist camp))). And it is also natural in the USSR, due to the low availability of this miracle. Quite a few circuit designs have been developed more or less close to the original. Probably the most famous and numerous clone on the territory of the former USSR due to the ease of repetition by amateurs, as well as the relative simplicity of the reach of the element base, was Leningrad-1 developed by Sergey Zonov. Full details are full on the Internet, but my video is not about that))) ...
... But what about:
Massively all these clones were produced and made independently (DIY) in the dashing 90s (at that time it was very difficult for ordinary people to live in the former USSR). Of course, I was no exception, also soldered a couple of pieces. Twenty years have passed since then ...."

I want to express my gratitude to the inhabitants of the forum: https://zx-pk.ru :
Vitaly M. (MV1971) for the opportunity to recall his youth in the form of a Lenin-NETI board and a small floppy drive controller for it,
Vadim R. (zx-kit) for developing a wonderful device for displaying images on a standard monitor,
special thanks to solegstar from Kharkov for the help in setting up the drive controller (it helped a lot),
And also a huge thank you to Konstantin Aigi, guided by the schemes from his website: https://www.cxemateka.ru I increased the RAM to 128K and connected the 64K ROM.
In this video, all sounds similar to music are synthesized by a three-channel sound generator (PSG, Programmable Sound Generator according to the manufacturer's terminology). Developed by General Instrument (the current Microchip), so all claims to them (in the sense of the chip and its manufacturer))). And with great respect I take off my hat to those who put these music into the very generator so skillfully !!!
