Downton Abbey Horror/Thriller Trailer (Psycho Bates!)
Sorry that this is a bit glitchy in places and the colouring is a bit messed up. I was so focused on the idea that I just decided to upload it as it is.
Plot: Both upstairs and downstairs at Downton Abbey is set on edge by the arrival of mysterious new valet John Bates. Bates quickly becomes infatuated with the Earl of Grantham's eldest daughter Lady Mary, who is wary of his advances. He is angered when he learns that Lady Mary is engaged to her cousin Matthew Crawley, and in an a fit of jealousy plots to murder him in his sleep. The murder is witnessed by footman Thomas, who had been intimidated by Bates since his arrival and decides to remain silent. Mary confides her suspicions to her maid Anna, who has also noticed Bates' strange behaviour. With three members of the household believing him to be guilty of murder, who knows where Bates will strike next?
