Laura Vella: "Deep Immune Profiling of the Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C)"
This week's speaker is Laura Vella, an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, and an attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Vella's areas of expertise include human immunology, T follicular helper cells, and CD4 T cell responses to chronic infections. She holds a masters in translational research from UPenn and an MD and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
