the class of 2020 lost out on promises and opportunities they had been looking forward to for years.
Megan, a recent graduate, did not get her senior prom. instead, she got the news that her father’s cancer is spreading, and she only has a few months left with him.
instead of prom, she put on her dress for a dance with her dad.
I had the privilege of filming the dance and taking some family photos for Megan. this experience was a reminder to me about the importance of living in the moment and making something beautiful out of discouraging circumstances.
