Dynamic Vision Sensor Noise Filtering
This video shows a simple noise filter for data collected by a Dynamic Vision Sensor ("Driving on the Pasadena Freeway"). After using the Dynamic Vision Viewer (DV) tool to convert the data to the modern AEDAT4 format, I was able to implement the filter in around 48 lines of Python code. The original image is on the left, with the filtered image to its right. The goal of this project is to produce a C++ version of the filter suitable for running in embedded environments like the Teensy4.0 microcontroller.
