I'm Konstantinos (Kostas) Daniel Tsavdaridis, a Professor of Structural Engineering at City, University of London. You might wonder why I have a YouTube channel. Well, I sometimes ask myself the same question...
The purpose of my channel is to cater to those interested in research or struggling with it. I create informative videos to provide advice and guidance from an academic's and supervisor's perspective. I've been doing this for over 17 years with my students and research group, so I thought it could benefit others too. I'm not trying to become the 'Mr Beast' of academia, and I gain nothing from this venture.
I also share research presentations, webinars, and keynotes on Structural Engineering, focusing on Steel and Composite Structures. My research team has developed free online courses on finite element modelling using Abaqus CAE, too.
