"Ode" is an extensive musical work of ten instrumental pieces in various keys with the purpose of relaxation when studying, reading, sleeping or meditating. The piano is presented as the sole instrument in the first eight movements and in the last two movements, as a solo instrument accompanied by an orchestra. The name of this work and those of the movements are inspired by the romantic ode written by Gaius Valerius Catullus, known as "Catullus 5" as a narrative element to the ongoing music.
