Assembling A Home Lab Server Rack
In this video we show you how we assembled a Startech.com 19 inch four post open frame rack
Whether you've got several computers and need somewhere to keep them all
Or you just want to tidy up an area for a few IT devices
You'll probably consider buying a server rack to house everything in
And aside from the reasonable price, what appeals about these racks from Startech.com is that you can adjust the depth from 22 to 40 inches
This gives you a lot of flexibility for installing servers and shelves
Everything is included in the box it arrives in, including the tools
Once built, rather than using cage nuts to attach everything, I now use Rackstuds
