With the finale last night, it only made sense to learn this song and do a cover of it. It's really hard to believe that this show I grew up with since middle school has ended. This show means so much to me, and despite its flaws, it really helped me as I discovered myself. It'll always have a special place in my heart, and I will forever be grateful that it ever existed.
Thank you, Steven Universe, for everything you've done for me. Thank you, Rebecca Sugar, for this show that changed my life.
(And yes, I was really crying recording that last bit. I actually had to redo that because I was crying too hard the first time.)
