Here are the steps on how to connect to a network printer and how to add a network printer to any devices:
How to connect to a network printer
Make sure that the printer is turned on and connected to the network.
On your computer, open the Settings app.
shortcut key - PRESS Windows key and r key together
Click on Devices - Printers & scanners.
Click on the Add a printer or scanner button.
If the printer is listed, select it and click on Add device.
If the printer is not listed, click on The printer that I want isn't listed.
In the Add a printer by name or TCP/IP address dialog box, enter the printer name or IP address.
Click on Next.
If the printer is shared, you will be prompted to enter the username and password for the printer.
Click on Next.
The printer will be added to your computer.
How to add a network printer to any devices
Find the printer's IP address or hostname. You can usually find this information on the printer's documentation or on the printer's control panel.
On your device, open the Settings app.
Click on Devices - Printers & scanners.
Click on the Add a printer or scanner button.
In the Add a printer by name or TCP/IP address dialog box, enter the printer's IP address or hostname.
Click on Next.
If the printer is shared, you will be prompted to enter the username and password for the printer.
Click on Next.
The printer will be added to your device.
