Blink is usually the first code makers write, but we do this later in our lessons because, well, it's not really that cool. Also, most of the components we use don't use resistors, and resistors & LEDs can be harder to wire-up on a breadboard, and mistakes are easily made. But we now learn to work with single-color LED bulbs because we'll be using it in future lessons. We'll also learn about LED bulbs, anode, cathode, and polarity. We'll learn more about resistors, too, including that placement location in a working circuit doesn't matter, we'll see resistor color bands, and use a calculating tool and multimeter to determine a resistor's Ohm value. And we'll write code to flash an LED bulb.
