Especially the Newa: Ropainjatra started by the community has become a celebration for everyone across the country. In Nepali, "Ropai Jatra" is called "Sinajya Jatra".

'Male' group dresses and decorate like a female on this day, perform 'ropai' and dance on the cultural music forgetting all the stress and fatigue. It's believed that doing this would provide peace to the demise soul of the family members.
