Steps to create a component in AEM
Details of a Component :
Project Name : Learn AEM
Component Title : My First Component
Component Group : AEM Training
Steps:
1. Create a folder structure under /apps to hold our component. Use folder structure like /apps/(project-name)/components/content.
2. Create a component by using the create button at the top. Provide label, title and component group. Component Group helps us to manage our components in a group.
3. Change the file extension from .jsp to .html and replace the content with some sample text.
4. Copy cq:dialog from any existing component like /libs/wcm/foundation/components/title/cq:dialog. cq:dialog node is mandatory for component to appear in side panel.
