Dual-camera tech explained: Are two better than one?
What are dual-cameras and why do you need them? In this video we explain exactly what dual-cameras are, as well as break down the three different types you can find on modern smartphones today.
The first type, zoom lens combinations can be found on the iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The second type of dual-camera, sporting a monochrome second sensor is on Huawei P10 and Mate-series devices while wide-angle set-ups are available on LG's V30 and the Asus Zenfone 4.
