Windows Virtual Desktop is a VDI on Cloud solution from Microsoft. WVD has been around for a few months now, and could actually help multiple organisations to shift their desktop infrastructure to the cloud.

With work from home culture on the rise, WVD can help with the ongoing pandemic situation by promoting BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Custom desktop images can be provided to the clients with pre-installed applications, with configuration simply taking several minutes.
