Actress Charlotte Stewart RETURNS to The Jim Masters Show Live entertainment, lifestyle, celebrity talk show series for a brand new exclusive interview with award-winning television, radio, multimedia personality and host Jim Masters. Charlotte is most famous for her role as the school teacher Miss Beadle on Little House on the Prairie and her work with director David Lynch. Stewart graduated from the Pasadena Playhouse. Her first acting job was in the 1960 episode The Glass Cage on The Loretta Young Show. She has guest-starred on many television series ranging from Bonanza to The Office and the recurring role of Betty Briggs on Twin Peaks. She was also a prolific TV commercial actress. Her notable film appearances include Eraserhead and Tremors. In 1961, with actor Beau Bridges, she also played Agnes Finley, one of the school newspaper editors, on the TV series My Three Sons in the season-one episode Deadline. She was played the role of Ruth Collier on the very first episode of the iconic television series, The Waltons called The Foundling.

It is somehow appropriate that Charlotte Stewart's career began as Disneyland's first walk-around character of Alice in Wonderland, as her life would be fraught with unexpected dangers and addictions, with bizarre, wonderful and famous characters. Too poor to buy cocaine, the woman who had played America's most beloved schoolteacher, started smoking crack, eventually living on vodka and hotdogs, until she entered rehab and remained sober for 27 years.

A notorious wild child of the 60's, she defined the era in relationships with noted personalities, prior to and during their successes, Richard Beymer, Bill Murray, Jon Voight, Richard Dreyfuss, Tim Considine, Stuart Margolin, Victor French, Ralph Waite, Chad Everett, Michael Parks, Mike Connors, Johnny Mandel, Robert Greenfield and her most notorious relationship with Jim Morrison, as well as co-starring with leading men from Jimmy Stewart and Elvis Presley to Kevin Bacon and Kyle MacLachlan.

The first cast member of both Twin Peaks and the cult classic Eraserhead to speak out in a memoir, she is also only adult cast member of hit series Little House On The Prairie, to release a memoir on the sometimes-turbulent behind-the-scenes relationships and responsibilities of playing the respected Miss Beadle. For the first time she speaks out candidly about her battle with breast cancer, suicide attempts, celebrity divorce and more. Charlotte filmed scenes for the reboot to Twin Peaks set on Showtime in 2017 and although filmed in the early 1980s, the surreal anti-nuclear comedy written and directed by Neil Young, Human Highway, was re-released to 400 theaters in a live in-theater in 2016. Stars include Neil Young, Dennis Hopper and the band Devo.
