[How to] Katana amp Original MkI v2 v3 v4 MkII Accessing Banks A & B with GA-FC

The Boss Katana amps now offer more memory slots with the original MkI v2, v3 & v4 updates and also on the newly released Mark II version.
Switching Banks A-B from a GA-FC foot controller
With the new v2 update, you now have 8 slots of memories instead of the original 4!
If you have the GA-FC here is how to get access to go from banks A to B and back!
You can use a GA-FC foot controller (sold separately) connected
to the KATANA-100, KATANA-100/212, or KATANA-HEAD to
switch banks.
Make sure you have selected one of the 4 channels, [CH1] to [CH4] as if you are on the [PANEL] channel, you won't be able to do this!
Now, hold down the [PANEL] switch for approximately one second.
The selected [CH1]–[CH4] button blinks, and the bank switches between BANK A and BANK B.
When BANK B is selected, the [PANEL] button blinks slowly.
MEMO
If you have a footswitch like the Boss FS-5U, FS-5L or one similar to what I'm using in this video.
Simply connect it to the rear panel VOLUME jack or the FX jack of the GA-FC foot controller and you will be able to use it to
switch between BANK A and BANK B.
A latching switch like mine may require you to double click on it.
Now have fun and rock the f**k out of your Katana!
